Our Relationship in Christ

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God.” John 1:12

We will never appreciate the things of God, unless we have established the right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

How did you know that you are already in the right relationship with God?

Are you assured that when you die tonight, you will spend the rest of your eternity in Heaven?

We can know for sure where to spend eternity as stated in 1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

  • If you are already convinced that you are a sinner and that you are bound to hell . . . (Romans 3:10, Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23)
  • If you have believed that as a sinner, you owe a debt. . . it is the debt of sin. (Romans 6:23a, Revelation 20:14, Revelation 20:15)
  • If you have believed that Christ paid the debt of sin on the Cross, He was buried, and rose on the third day (John 3:16, Romans 5:8, Romans 5:9)
  • If you have received the free gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ and that, He is already your Personal Lord and Savior and that you have repented of your sins (Romans 6:23b, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12)

If your answer is “yes” with sincerity to the questions above, then you are now ready to journey with God and that your relationship with Him is already in existence.

Walking a genuine Christian journey is impossible without God. It might be easy for us to say that we are Christians, but it does not end with our profession. The Scripture says that “wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them” (Matthew 7:20).

If we love the Him, we keep His commands (John 14:15) and we delight in His law and in His law, we meditate day and night (Psalm 1:2),
